Senate Committee Hearing #1

Probably Feb. 22 or the week of Feb. 25,

but please complete important ACTION STEPS now!

New Mexico's 2019 National Popular Vote bill (House Bill 55) has been assigned to two Senate committees. The period between now and the first hearing is a CRITICAL time for ALL New Mexicans to contact their State Senator in support of the bill (once more). Just because a Senator may have voted for the National Popular Vote in 2017 does NOT guarantee that she or he will vote yes again. Please complete the important ACTION STEPS on this website's Next hearing date and action steps page.
