On February 1, 2019, New Mexico's National Popular Vote bill (House Bill 55) passed the full House floor and now begins its journey through the New Mexico Senate.

Meanwhile, Colorado's National Popular Vote bill passed the full Senate floor on January 29, 2019, and its single House committee hearing on February 12, 2019. The bill currently is heading to the full Colorado House floor—its last hurdle before hopefully being signed into law.

If both of our neighboring states manage to enact the bill into law during the 2019 legislative session with enough ACTIVE citizen support, including YOURS, the question becomes who will do so first.  Anyone up for a bit of friendly "competition"?
